OVERVIEW

Evins Communications — a brain-trust of passionate strategists, storytellers and tastemakers — seeks a resourceful and driven PR Account Executive to join our Travel + Lifestyle practice. *This is a hybrid, NYC-based role.*

As an Account Executive, you’ll be a key player in developing and executing strategic communications programs for leading travel and lifestyle brands. You’ll work closely with senior team members to manage client relationships, lead media outreach and contribute to creative ideation. This role is ideal for a PR professional with agency experience who is:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Executive responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage day-to-day account activities across multiple travel and lifestyle clients
• Support the development and execution of strategic PR plans and campaigns
• Draft press releases, pitches, media alerts and other communications materials
• Conduct media outreach and build relationships with editors, freelancers and influencers
• Monitor industry trends and identify proactive media opportunities
• Participate in client meetings, calls and event activations
• Oversee media list development, coverage tracking and reporting
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing feedback and support
• Collaborate on social media content and integrated communications initiatives
• Contribute to new business proposals and presentations

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–4 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency setting
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
• Proven ability to secure media coverage across travel, lifestyle and consumer sectors
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Familiarity with media monitoring and database tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Meltwater, Cision)
• Personal interest in travel, hospitality and cultural exploration is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary Range: $61,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
