**Job Title:** **Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - Industrial Maintenance** **About the Role** **We're seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician** to join our team. In this role, you'll perform **preventive maintenance** , troubleshoot and repair **industrial refrigeration systems** , and ensure production uptime. You'll also handle **boiler checks** , **equipment overhauls** , and work on **electrical** , **welding** , **pneumatic** , and **hydraulic systems** . If you have strong mechanical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you! **Key Responsibilities** + Perform **preventive maintenance** on ammonia refrigeration equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair systems to maintain production uptime. + Conduct regular **boiler and refrigeration checks** . + Overhaul and update equipment as needed. + Repair and maintain **electrical** , **hydraulic** , **pneumatic** , and **welding systems** . + Complete additional duties as assigned. **What We're Looking For** + **Experience:** Background in **Ammonia Refrigeration** . + 3+ years in **mechanical maintenance** , including installation and troubleshooting. + **Skills:** Knowledge of **hydraulics** , **pneumatics** , **electricity** , **plumbing** , and **PLCs** . + Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bend, lift, twist). + **Preferred:** MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher. + Experience with **industrial refrigeration systems** and **preventive maintenance** . **Why You'll Love Working Here** + **Family-Owned Company:** We value our employees and offer a supportive environment. + **Competitive Benefits:** Generous PTO bank + Paid parental leave + Key holidays off + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Spousal and child life insurance + Flexible spending accounts + **Performance Bonuses:** Paid every year for the last 30 years! **Work Environment & Schedule** + High noise levels, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust. + PPE required for safety. + **Rotating Schedule:** Monday-Wednesday + rotating weekends OR Wednesday-Friday + rotating weekends. + **Second Shift:** 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM + 40 hours per week with alternating weeks of 30 hours straight time + 10 hours overtime for extra time off. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Wells, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $51272.00 - $62628.00/yr. . . **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Wells,MN. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Dec 8, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
