Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Some duties and responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • This position is primarily responsible for driving a tractor/trailer transporting materials to and from specified destinations by performing the duties listed below. (Flatbed experience preferred but not a must - will train).
  • Drives truck to destination.
  • Loads and unloads the truck.
  • Secures cargo for transit.
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Check fluid levels daily.
  • Maintain cab folders/trailer paperwork.
  • Maintain truck e-log on company-provided tablets and complete daily.
  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
  • Maintain a clean truck; wash truck weekly.
  • Regard the Yard Speed Limit of 5 MPH.
