George A. Pegher Inc is looking for arborists in the Pittsburgh area to add to our team. Our ISA Certified Arborists and tree experts provide on-the-job training in all aspects of Arboriculture. Whether you are a seasoned climber or have no experience, we are looking for men and women who are eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and are willing to expand their knowledge of the tree care industry.
We are not a "typical" tree service. Just some of the unique properties whose trees we care for include Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, The National Aviary of Pittsburgh, and Katz Plaza in the Cultural District. This gives us the opportunity to work with rare trees and plants. One day we may be removing a large Palm tree at Phipps, the next, we may be installing vines for "Wookie", The Aviary's Three-Toed Sloth while exotic birds fly around. These are truly unique experiences that no other company can claim.
