Falck Rocky Mountain is proud to be the exclusive emergency ambulance provider for the City of Aurora, Colorado. Following a competitive bid process, Falck was recommended unanimously as the provider of choice by a committee of local hospital representatives, fire department subject matter experts, and City of Aurora management and finance staff. With our innovative public/private partnership with Aurora Fire Rescue, Falck responds to over 42,000 emergency medical services requests per year in the City of Aurora.

Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 / year DOE

  Position Summary:

The primary job responsibilities of the Division Manager Logistics is to manage inventory levels, maintain adequate par levels of stock in the Warehouse while keeping track of where supplies are allocated. Unit preparation for oncoming shifts. Oversees maintenance of fleet and medical equipment and provides support to the Vehicle Service Technician and Fleet Mechanic. Supports healthcare facility relations with focus on PTS line of business. Supports local Safety program. Oversees employee uniform program.

  Essential Functions:

The Division Manager Logistics may be assigned one or more duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversees Fleet maintenance program to include fleet mechanic(s) and associated suppliers.
  • Oversees Supply process, manages ordering and inventory of medical supplies, and supervises Vehicle Service Technician(s).
  • Manages employee uniform program.
  • Oversees physical plant issues.
  • Accurately performs inventory control on vehicles and in the Warehouse.
  • Manages vehicle licensing for DMV and County purposes.
  • Oversees maintenance of medical equipment to include: stretchers, stair chairs, cardiac monitors, and other equipment.
  • Conducts detailed inspections of vehicle and proper reporting of new damage.
  • Takes point on PTS services oversight including facility outreach and relations.
  • Stocks equipment and supplies to proper storage areas in supply and on ambulances.
  • Operates company vehicles on city streets, local highways, abiding all laws.
  • Complies with and consistently enforces all Falck policies and procedures.
  • Handles internal and external customer service issues, complaints, and conflicts.
  • Provides guidance to employees responding to difficult and complex situations/calls.
  • Handle minor employee issues and questions as needed and act as a liaison to management for employees.
  • Perform and document investigations of employee misconduct.
  • Inspects vehicles and equipment and ensures all policies and procedures are followed by employees on their shift.
  • Oversees and maintains relationship with PTS Facility Relations, along with assisting business development initiatives as needed.
  • Builds and maintains positive vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of supplies; ordering supplies; maintaining equipment.
  • Operative IQ maintenance, education, and compliance
  • Handles and properly disposes and/or packing of biohazard materials.
  • Knows and practices proper decontamination processes for all equipment.
  • Ensures that the property is free of hazards and clean.
  • Performs Quality Control test on medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Coordinates employee uniform orders and reviews physical plant issues as needed.
  • Serves as Safety Officer and manages safety efforts across our organization.
  • Documents equipment that does not meet standard operations and move to designated location.
  • Identifies unsafe conditions, neutralize, and inform supervisor of situation and action taken.
  • Provides exceptional customer service addressing concerns as they arise.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • Satisfactory driving record in accordance with Company Driving Policy.
  • Current state driver’s license.
  • One-year experience as a Paramedic preferred.
  • Current Colorado state driver license.
  • Satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Falck USA Driving Policy.
  • Must possess knowledge of County EMS structure and role of private ambulance.

Education Requirements:

The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current Colorado State EMT or Paramedic certification (Preferred)
  • American Heart Association CPR
