Description A respected real estate investment and development company in Carlsbad is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in investment modeling, property financials, and market analysis who enjoys working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities: + Build and maintain complex financial models for property acquisitions, developments, and investment opportunities. + Conduct cash flow forecasting, IRR analysis, and ROI evaluations. + Prepare detailed pro forma statements, rent rolls, and operating projections. + Analyze market trends, occupancy data, and competitive positioning. + Support due diligence for acquisitions, including reviewing leases, appraisals, and financial statements. + Assist in preparing investor and executive presentations. + Work closely with accounting, asset management, and development teams to monitor project performance. + Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes. + Provide variance analyses and key insights to support business decisions. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Real Estate. + 3-6 years of experience in financial analysis or real estate investment. + Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling (DCF, IRR, NPV). + Familiarity with Argus Enterprise, Yardi, or MRI strongly preferred. + Excellent communication, attention to detail, and presentation skills. + Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Schedule: Full-time, hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote).
