 Job Title: Freight Broker & Dispatcher - Domestic Logistics 
 Location:  Lewistown, PA 
 But this role can be  remote  , but we’re targeting candidates with  asset-based experience  and an  active book of business  . 
 Compensation:  Typically around $50K–$60K  , but fully  negotiable  for the right rep.  
 Commission:  Extremely lucrative 70/30 split  on non-asset-based freight (70% to the rep). 
 With quarterly profitability bonuses and annual performance-based profit share. 
 Network:  They already have 4,000+ carriers  in their system, allowing flexibility across freight types. 
 Growth:  There’s also  potential for equity  as the company expands.

  The company  is a growing, reputable trucking company based in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, operating a fleet of 20 trucks with a 97-year history and plans to expand to 30 trucks in the next 10 months. The company takes pride in reliable service and long-standing driver relationships. 
 
 Primary Responsibilities: 
 
 Proactively identify and secure profitable freight opportunities for the fleet. 
 Build direct relationships with shippers to secure dedicated freight lanes. 
 Plan and dispatch drivers efficiently to maximize truck utilization. 
 Negotiate freight rates with brokers and direct shippers. 
 Maintain strong relationships with drivers and ensure clear communication. 
 Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies as needed. 
 Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency. 
 Use TMS systems and other technology for load tracking and reporting. 
 Maintain DOT compliance and safety standards. 
 Contribute to company growth goals through strategic freight acquisition. 
Secondary Responsibilities: Operate as a cradle-to-grave freight brokerage agent under the FlatFive brand.
 Develop new shipper relationships across commodities and regions. 
 Match shippers with available carriers and negotiate win-win rates. 
 Qualify and onboard carriers, ensuring full compliance. 
 Manage the full shipment lifecycle and provide top-tier customer service. 
 Ensure all documentation and contracts are accurate and complete. 
 Manage invoicing and profit tracking for your brokerage activities. 
 Minimum 2 years of freight brokerage and/or dispatch experience. 
 Deep understanding of trucking operations and DOT regulations. 
 Strong negotiation and communication skills. 
 Established network of shippers and/or carriers is a plus. 
 Familiarity with TMS systems and ability to work independently. 
 Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
