Our growing underground wet utility company is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to help us complete tasks correctly and on time. Previous operating experience is required, as is an understanding of construction methods, tools, and digging around utilities and equipment. You'll work with a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen to bring construction plans to life. Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all directions from the foreman and work with other team members to complete tasks properly and efficiently
• Comply with operating safety rules and regulations per OSHA safe practices
• Prepare and maintain equipment for safe daily operations (i.e., fuel, grease, etc.)
• Able to set shoring, calculate, and set proper grades and elevations
• May perform laborer duties when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience operating heavy equipment in the wet utility field (excavators, backhoes, loaders)
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme temperatures and rain
• Must have transportation to and from job sites
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
