Position: Part-Time Housekeeper

About the Position:
A private family in Louisa County, VA is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper to help maintain their 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom home. The family has deep cleaners who come once per month, so the focus will be on maintaining lived-in areas, handling laundry, and assisting with basic household needs. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and able to follow directions, including simple meal preparation.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular cleaning of lived-in areas, with a rotational schedule for bedrooms and bathrooms.
Handle family laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing.
Grocery shop for the household as needed.
Prepare at least one simple meal per week, following recipes when necessary.
Maintain household tidiness and ensure high standards of cleanliness between monthly deep cleans.
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience in a private home preferred.
Ability to follow cleaning and organizational routines with attention to detail.
Basic cooking skills; comfortable following recipes.
Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible with scheduling.
Ability to manage responsibilities in a large household.
