Private Family in Washington, DC (Spring Valley) Seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper
Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $35–$40 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: October 2025
A warm and welcoming family in the Spring Valley neighborhood of Washington, DC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and able to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and care for the family’s home.
Responsibilities:
Full housekeeping duties, including daily cleaning and upkeep of the home
Laundry and wardrobe management
Kitchen organization and light meal prep as needed
Running errands, including shopping and household supply management (driving required)
Assisting with general household support to ensure smooth daily operations
Travel Requirement:
Housekeeper will travel with the family for approximately 4 weeks between Michigan and Canada.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private household
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage laundry, ironing, and fabric care
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (car provided for work-related errands)
Flexibility to travel with the family during the summer
Discretion, professionalism, and a positive attitude
