Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Immunology Medical Affairs Program Management intern located in Horsham, PA. This position will be part of the Program and Alliance Management and Clinical Operations Teams with Immunology Medical Affairs.

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Strategy & Operations intern will coordinate across therapeutic areas and assist with project management of ongoing and new initiatives in support of the immunology MSL teams. The MSL Strategy & Operations intern will also assist with data analytic projects that will help demonstrate the impact of our field medical team.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with US Immunology Medical Affairs MSL team under the direction of the Director of MSL Strategy and Operations supporting ongoing projects
  • Assist with activities and projects within Field Medical including but not limited to the creation and maintenance of dashboards and PowerPoint presentations
  • Partner to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to evolve our field business
  • Participate in ongoing team meetings
  • Be exposed to various functions within the larger Immunology Medical Affairs organization

Eligibility Criteria
  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry) or graduate study in PharmD, PhD, MPH or other master's program in a science-related field
  • Completed 3+ years of college coursework
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (with a high proficiency with generating tables and graphs), and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical competencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems
  • Experience with PubMed and other literature databases.
  • Academic and/or industrial clinical trial experience
  • Participation in campus/community service activities
