Maintenance Technician A PLC, Robotics & Industrial Maintenance (Automotive Manufacturing)

Pay: Up to $37/hr + Sign-On Bonus

Shifts Available: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician A to support automotive manufacturing operations, specifically within driveline and drivetrain systems . This role performs advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on die casting and automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems
• Troubleshoot equipment using Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC 500, PLC 5, ControlLogix) and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics
• Modify positions and diagnose issues on ABB robots (M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700)
• Install, align, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities
• Perform gas and electric welding and operate machine shop equipment
• Complete preventive and proactive maintenance tasks
• Document work using CMMS systems (e.g., eMaint, Fiix)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• 4+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, hydraulics, robotics, and welding
• Proven ability to troubleshoot die casting machine cells
• Ability to read and interpret PLC logic, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Technical or vocational training (certificates or some college coursework)

Preferred Experience

• Automotive manufacturing environment
• Driveline / drivetrain manufacturing systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay up to $37.00/hr (based on skills and experience)
• Sign-on bonus (1-year promissory note applies)
