Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join one of their railcar manufacturing and leasing clients in Farmers Branch, TX. This role will be working with the senior individuals on the team to assist with the maintenance and operational support of a custom-built application. As this application transitions from an on-premise environment to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, this position will focus on the post-deployment support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be skilled within the Azure platform and technologies, SQL development, and data integration and analysis. Day to Day responsibilities include: · Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines. · Integrate data from various sources using tools like Azure Data Factory, SQL, and other ETL frameworks. · Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. · Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability. · Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes. · Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
