Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mylar Packaging Operator to join our cultivation processing team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and have hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting mylar packaging machines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor mylar packaging machinery to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency

• Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and minor adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and coordinate with maintenance when necessary

• Accurately weigh, fill, and seal products according to established SOPs and quality standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and state regulations

• Complete daily production logs and ensure packaging counts meet quota and accuracy requirements

• Collaborate with the processing team to meet production goals and timelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a mylar packaging machine required

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and solve equipment issues

• Experience working in a cultivation, food production, or manufacturing environment preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills

• Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards
