Qualifications:
*** Do not submit automotive painters. This is for interior, exterior and some equipment painting*** Education HS diploma or GED Work Experience- 4 years related experience and/or training. Licenses/ Certifications- Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to obtain required forklift and lift certifications. Language Skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Technical Skills- Must have working knowledge to use a computer.Responsibilities:
The painter will be responsible to Paint areas given by Site Lead as well as Honda Lead. They will be an excellent communicator and have exceptional follow up capabilities. Reads work order or receives instructions from supervisor regarding painting. Smooths surfaces and removes old paint from surfaces to prepare surfaces for painting. Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk or other filler. Spreads drop cloths over floors and room furnishings, and covers surfaces such as baseboards, door frames, and windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Sets up ladders or utilizes man lifts to perform tasks above ground level. Responsible for interior painting, exterior painting, and machine painting per instructions Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
