Pay Range: $20.40 - $26.50 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Assist the team by performing specific clerical functions for assigned areas.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma

Preferred:

• At least 1year related experience
• Experience with EMR systems
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Understand medical and Insurance terms

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift- 8:00am-4:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• Full Time/Day

Essential Functions:

• Assist the Physician and the staff by performing specific clerical functions for assigned areas

• Verifying Insurance coverage and updating patient records accordingly.
• Ability to perform assigned clerical duties (Conduct stock supply closet, complete assignment board, answer phones/call bells, print daily census, complete patient rounds, file diagnostic reports)
• Answers telephone/ intercom in a polite manner and communicates information to appropriate personnel / family
• Performs chart maintenance/chart assembly/importing documentation and coordination with patients for required information before their appt.
• May assist with scheduling and registration of patients
• Promotes patient satisfaction through individual activities as evidenced by feedback from patients and families
• Managing Physician meetings and needs
• Can multitask, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• All other duties as assigned
