The Supply chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods. This role involves managing shipments, communicating with vendors and carriers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
Schedule transportation with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Prepare, review, and maintain logistics documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and shipping reports.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, warehouses, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
Maintain accurate records in logistics and inventory management systems.
Support inventory control activities, including stock reconciliation and reporting.
Analyze logistics data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
Strong understanding of shipping methods, freight terms, and logistics processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or TMS systems preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
