Job Description

Summary

The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking a physician to join the Division of Transfusion Medicine & Coagulation. The academic appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine. Faculty at Texas Children's Hospital hold full-time academic appointments in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and are expected to contribute to the department's educational and scholarly missions. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

In addition to its extensive pediatric services, TCH has a high-volume Obstetric service with approximately 6,500 annual deliveries and an Adult Congenital Heart Program. Minimum Qualifications

MD or equivalent
Board-certification or Board-eligibility in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine through the American Board of Pathology and eligibility for an active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
